JUST WHEN I THOUGHT LUIS BUÑUEL AND DAVID LYNCH'S FILMS ARE VERY STRANGE

I like the news published in Thairath newspaper today very much.

Many people said that they saw some unusual things happening at the cage of Linping, a one-year-old panda which is living in a zoo in Chiang Mai. They said that there were some strange noises at night, and they saw something like shadows of humans standing near the cage, trying to look inside to see Linping. But these human-like entities could disappear suddenly. The witnesses try to figure out what they saw exactly.

Prasertsak Boontrakulpoonthawee, the head of Chiang Mai Zoo's panda section, said on May 28 that many zoo staffs had told him about these strange noises and apparitions, and he had brought a famous monk to perform some sacred ceremony at Linping's cage on May 27.

Nipon Wichairat, the assistant director of Chiang Mai Zoo, said that he had known about the ghosts at Linping's cage, but he had kept it a secret, because it would affect the tourism at the zoo.

"Some ghosts may want to see Linping. Both humans and ghosts will agree that Linping is very pretty after they see it," Nipon said.
