รามเกียรติ์แอนิเมชั่น ตอนธรรมะแห่งราชา (อธิปัตย์ กมลเพ็ชร)
I think this is one of the best or the most beautiful Thai animations ever made, though being the best does not mean I can enjoy some parts of the story in this film.
Anyway, I am very fascinated by a character in this film very much. She is Gudjee, the hunchback lady who holds a grudge against the hero. If someone makes an animation which portrays Gudjee as the heroine, it would be very easy for me to give that animation A++++++++++.
12.THE PHOBIA (Narathip Chainarong, 14, B)
รักป่วย (นราธิป ไชยณรงค์)

Do you have any recommendations for the Short Film Festival this month? Especially any political films, or anything from the Queer programmes?
Mat.
First, let me tell you that many films I recommend may not have English subtitles, but may be you are good at Thai language now. :-)
All the Thai films which are shown in the Queer Programs are great. My most favorite one is FORGET ME NOT (Naphat Chaithiangtham, 30 min). This film made me cry a bucketful of tears.
Apart from the Queer programs, other queer films in the festival include:
1.EROTIC FRAGMENT NO. 1, 2, 3 (Anucha Boonyawatana, 5.30, A++++++++++)
Shown in Rat 1 program
2.LAUGH AND CRY FOR VIVA (Sirapatshara Niampuang, 28 min, A++++++++++)
Shown in White Elephant 4 program
The political films which will be shown in the Festival include:
1.KARI YUKA (2011, Eakarpon Setarsug, 30min, A+/A)
Shown in White Elephant 1 program
I think this film is great, though I don't agree with the political opinions in this film.
2.95110 POSTAL DREAM (2011, Taweewit Kijtanasoontorn, documentary, 83 min, A+++++)
The film doesn't focus on the political issues, but it presents the lives of some young men in the conflicted areas in the southernmost region of Thailand.
3.BAAN PEE POP (2011, Ukrit Sa-nguanhai, 15 min, A++++++++++)
Shown in White Elephant 3 program
4.A BRIEF HISTORY OF MEMORY (2010, Chulayarnnon Siriphol, 14min, A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++)
Shown in Duke 4 program
5.THE FORGOTTEN (2011, Wachara Kanha, 123 min, documentary, A+)
6.THE ISLAND OF UTOPIAS (Pramote Sangsorn, 20 min, A++++++++++)
Shown in White Elephant 3 program
7.KON SAM ROON KRUN KID ARAI RUE (THE THOUGHTS OF THE THREE GENERATIONS) (2010, Panu Saeng-xuto, 20 min, A+++++)
Shown in Duke 4 program
8.NAKORN ASAJAN (BIZARRE CITY: MIGHT) (2011, Wachara Kanha, 30 min, A+++++)
Shown in Digital Forum on Saturday 27
9.O.B.L. (Panu Aree, Kong Rithdee, Kaweenipon Ketprasit, 23 min)
10.THE REDEMPTION (2011, Alwa Ritsila, 76 min, B+)
11.A RIPE VOLCANO (2011, Taiki Sakpisit, 15min, A+)
Shown in Rat 2 program
12.Suchart Sawasdsri's films
I guess PERSONAL HISTORIES and YELLOW FEVER (A+) are political films.
13.TERRIBLY HAPPY (2010, Pimpaka Towira, 30 min, A++++++++++)
My most favorite political film from the list above is A BRIEF HISTORY OF MEMORY.
Thank you. :-) Much appreciated.
