30 DAY CINEPHILE CHALLENGE -- DAY 19

Day 19: Your favorite British filmmaker – It's hard for me to choose between Derek Jarman, Ken Loach, and John Smith, but I think I choose Derek Jarman, because THE GARDEN (1990) is one of the first arthouse films I saw in my life. Before I watched it in early 1995, most of the films I had seen are Hollywood mainstream films, so THE GARDEN made me realize that there are many interesting films to explore apart from narrative films.
