One of the reasons why I like MEMORIUM very much is the fact that I don't know how I should react to it or how I should treat it. Should I react to it as a horror ghost film without ghosts or horror? Should I react to it as an arthouse film which focuses on a slice of life? Should I react to it as a social problem film which deals with the indifference of people in today's society? Should I try to interpret it as a metaphorical film? The film doesn't seem to prescribe to me how I should treat it, and that's why I like it very much.
