Tomorrow I'm seeing a screening of "Mongol".
Thank you very much for the link to Louis Proyect's review. It is very interesting. I didn't know before about what happened in Mongolia during the Communist era. The story about Tumurochir is very sad.
I haven't seen MONGOL, but I think the film will be shown in Bangkok soon. As for now, I still think of Genghis Khan as "destructive tyrant", though I have to admit that nearly every tyrant did some good things, too.
