I like the film THE ROOT OF THE HEART (2000, Paulo Rocha, A+30) very much. THE ROOT OF THE HEART is one of my most favorite films I saw in 2005. Some parts of THE ROOT OF THE HEART remind me of Derek Jarman, Ulrike Ottinger, and Werner Schroeter.
