WER (2014, William Brent Bell, A+/A)
I like the first half of the film, but I think the second half of
the film is so-so.
I think I prefer THE BARRENS (2012, Darren Lynn Bousman) to WER. I
compare these two films together, because what I like in these two films is the
feeling of uncertainty whether there will be a monster in the film or not. THE
BARRENS makes me feel uncertain until near the end of the film, so I prefer it
to WER which makes me feel uncertain only in the first half of the film.
