มีหนังเรื่องนึงของ MARC BARBE ที่เพิ่งออกขายในรูปแบบดีวีดี และน่าดูอย่างสุดๆ นั่นก็คือเรื่อง MY LIFE AND TIMES WITH ANTONIN ARTAUD (1993, GERARD MORDILLAT) ที่มี SAMI FREY รับบทเป็น ANTONIN ARTAUD บุคคลสำคัญในวงการละครเวทีฝรั่งเศส เจ้าของแนวทาง THEATRE OF CRUELTY โดยในเรื่องนี้ MARC BARBE รับบทเป็น JACQUES PREVEL กวีหนุ่มในกรุงปารีสที่หลงใหลในARTAUD และพยายามจะหาทางประสบความสำเร็จในชีวิต

หนังขาวดำเรื่องนี้ใช้ฉากหลังเป็นปี 1946 หลังจาก ARTAUD ได้รับการปล่อยตัวออกจากโรงพยาบาลบ้า อย่างไรก็ดี หนังเรื่องนี้ไม่ได้สร้างฉากที่สมจริงตรงตามเวลาแต่อย่างใด โดยองค์ประกอบอื่นๆในหนังไม่ว่าจะเป็นท้องถนน, ทรงผม หรือเสื้อผ้า ต่างก็เป็นของปารีสในยุคปัจจุบัน และนั่นก็เป็นข้อดีข้อหนึ่งของหนังเรื่องนี้
