--One of the romantic relationships that I like very much is the relationship between Queen Margot (Isabelle Adjani) and La Mole (Vincent Perez) in QUEEN MARGOT (1994, Patrice Chereau, A+). I also saw the older version—QUEEN MARGOT (1954, Jean Dreville, B), which stars Jeanne Moreau, but I think the new version is more exciting.
The story of QUEEN MARGOT also concerns the St. Bartholomew’s Day Massacre and Catherine de Medici (Virna Lisi). I think it is a very interesting subject.
