"301, 302" MAKES ME CRY

This is my comment in Peter Nellhaus’ blog about “301, 302”:

I love this film very much. I think it’s one of the first Korean films I ever saw. Somehow the ending of this film makes me want to cry. I don’t think that’s the intention of this director—making the audience cry, but somehow I was touched by the relationship of these two women and very impressed by the loneliness of Yun-hee and the fact that Song-hee may be the only person in the world who can understand Yun-hee’s feeling at last.

Some trivia: a TV-spot advertisement for a mobile phone carrier in Thailand seemed to be inspired by this film. In this ad which was released about 5-7 years ago, two women use the same elevator and there is the number 301 above one woman’s head, and the number 302 above the other woman’s head. These two women don’t talk to each other though they are neighbors in the same apartment/condominium building. This ad told the viewers at the end that people should talk more to each other. I think it’s funny to see a commercial advertisement inspired by such a sad and cruel film like 301, 302.

ช่วงต้นเดือนพ.ย.ที่ผ่านมา ดิฉันได้ไปดูละครเวทีหลายเรื่อง ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่จัดแสดงในร้านอาหารขนาดเล็ก ใช้พื้นที่เล็กๆในการแสดง โดยผู้ชมจะอยู่ใกล้ชิดกับนักแสดงมากๆ บางเรื่องก็ใช้วิธีแสดงไปเรื่อยๆโดยไม่มีปฏิกิริยากับผู้ชม แต่บางเรื่องก็ใช้วิธีมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับผู้ชม ซึ่งนักแสดงในแบบหลังนี้ต้องเก่งมาก เพราะต้องด้นบทสดๆเป็นระยะๆ

พอดูละครเวทีเหล่านี้ ก็เลยทำให้นึกขึ้นมาเล่นๆว่า “ความลักลั่นในงานรื่นเริง” เป็นภาพยนตร์ที่เหมาะจะนำมาดัดแปลงเป็นละครเวทีมากๆค่ะ เพราะเนื้อเรื่องในหนังก็ใช้พื้นที่ไม่มากนัก โดยถ้าหากละครเวทีเรื่องนี้จัดแสดงเป็นแบบ “ไม่มีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับผู้ชม” ก็อาจจะง่ายหน่อย แต่ถ้าจัดแสดงเป็นแบบ “มีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับผู้ชม” ก็อาจจะยากหน่อย เพราะประเด็นในหนังเรื่องนี้อาจจะยั่วอารมณ์โกรธของผู้ชมได้ง่ายๆ แต่ก็อาจจะสนุกก็ได้นะ และเหมาะจะมีการบันทึกภาพปฏิกิริยาของผู้ชมเก็บไว้ในทุกๆรอบ ฮ่าๆๆ

สรุปว่าดิฉันแค่อยู่ว่างๆ ก็เลยจินตนาการขึ้นมาเล่นๆค่ะว่าถ้าหาก “ความลักลั่นในงานรื่นเริง” กลายเป็นละครเวที มันจะออกมาเป็นยังไงบ้าง
