MY HEAVENLY DAYS

On the last day of the Bangkok International Film Festival 2007, I saw 6 feature films, 4 of which were in the festival, the other two were shown outside the festival. I hadn't done this kind of thing for a long time—seeing six feature films in the same day. I did it this time because Filmsick, my friend, asked me to. He also saw 6 feature films on that day. We enjoyed that day very much. At first I thought I would fell asleep for a long time, but it turned out I only fell asleep for a few minutes during LUXURY CAR.

I saw it at 23:30 hrs.


The experience on that day makes me realize that good films are like refreshment. They keeps your mind awake, alert, and cheerful. I don't know if I will ever have a chance to do anything like this again.

However, the experience on that day is not my highest record. My personal record is seven feature films on the same day. I did it on Saturday, September 30, 2000, in the Bangkok Film Festival (not to be confused with the Bangkok International Film Festival and the World Film Festival of Bangkok)

--I don't know if any international film festivals in Bangkok will attempt to show as many films as this in a single day again. But I like this kind of thing a lot. And I encourage my readers to do the same.


MY IMAGINARY HEAVENLY DAY

--If I possess a magic power, in the upcoming World Film Festival of Bangkok, I wish I could see these following seven films on the same day with my friends--Filmsick, merveillesxx, Lunar, Black Forest, etc. That would be a huge fun.
