THE BANGKOK BOURGEOIS (2007, Prap Boonpan, A+) ยังคงครองอันดับหนึ่งภาพยนตร์ไทยที่พี่ชอบมากที่สุดในปีนี้อยู่ค่ะ

THE BANGKOK BOURGEOIS PARTY PATTERNS OF TRANSCENDENCE (2006, Jakrawal Nilthamrong, A+) กับ DRIPPING (2004, Jakrawal Nilthamrong, A+) อย่างสุดๆ

I cannot write long comments right now, because I don't have time. I think I will have time to write longer comments after the Thai Short Film Festival ends.

FILMS SEEN ON SATURDAY 18 AUGUST 2007

(My grade has nothing to do with how great any film is. It always concerns with how much I enjoy the film. I usually enjoy bad films.)

1.LITTLE PLANT AT THE OLD HOUSE (2007, Sasikan Suvanasuthi, A+) 5 min
Second viewing
This is not a film. This is life breathing, remembering, caring, thinking, feeling, dreaming. In short, this is LIFE REALLY LIVING. Within 5 minutes, with so little details, with so little information, somehow the director can find a way to make me feel something very strongly for the two women in the film.

2.ALONE (2006, Teera Prachumkong, A+) 20 min
Second viewing

3.NORTH COLD (2006, Veramon Liptawat, A+) 24 min
I'm not sure if this is a good film or not. My most important reason why I love this film is just because it reminds me of one of my best friends, who usually does something like one of the main characters in this film does. This film is also a guilty pleasure for me. It also reminds me of "THE ROOM" (2006, Komsunt Boonyawit, A+), another Thai gay romantic film which is a guilty pleasure for me.

4.FAT GIRL (2007, Chanchana Akjiratikarl + Chayanuch Akjiratikarl, A+) 12 min
Third viewing
I just noticed that Attapon Pamakho is the cinematographer of this film.

5.BROTHERS (2007, Jiraporn Jaipang + Paisit Punpruksachart, A+) 10 min
I like the voiceovers in this film very much.

6.KRASOB (2006, Nitipong Thinthupthai, A+) 12 min
Third viewing
I think this film should be screened together with LORD OF THE FLIES, because both films remind me of some ugly human nature, which can be found even in "innocent" children.

7.THINGKING...OF MY FATHER (2006, Thip Tang + Teera Prachumkong + Chutchai Chantanawong, A+) 9 min
Second viewing

8.RE-PRESENTATION (2007, Chai Chaiyachit + Chisanucha Kongwailap, A+) 29 min

9."___" (2006, Tulapop Saenjaroen, A+) 8 min
Second viewing

10.SOMEWHERE-IN-TIME (2007, Pairach Khumwan, A+) 23 min

11.THE EVERLASTING REPLICATION OF TIME (2007, Zart Tancharoen, A+) 20 min

12.IMAGINED LANDSCAPE (2007, Wannisa Aiamlaong, A+) 20 min

13.DEK CHAI JAK TANG DAN (2007, Tosaporn Mongkol, A+) 20 min
Second viewing

14.LIVING DOLL OR A DEAD (2006, Kamolpan Chotvichai, A+/A) 4 min

15.CHILD OF SIN (2007, Seri Lachonnabot, A+/A) 28 min
Second viewing

16.BANGKOK ILLUSTRATION (2007, Aekpum Hansapiromchoke, A) 22 min
This is an experimental documentary. I think it should be screened together with DOGORA (2004, Patrice Leconte, B+)

17.HUSH UP (2007, Sophon Sakdaphisit, A) 16 min

18.THE WHITE CLOUDS IN BLUE SKY (2006, Surawat Chupol, A) 30 min
Second viewing

19.YEMAR2 (2007, Thanate Limchareon, A) 24 min

20.MEMORIES (2006, Teerapol Suneta, A) 27 min
