I would have voted for Sell Out! I enjoyed The Last Communist, but still haven't seen Village People Radio Show, and now I've added Malaysian Gods of movies by Amir that I want to see.

I have also seen and liked Rain Dogs and James Lee's Before We Fall in Love Again. I didn't appreciate Lee's Histeria when I saw it.

I'm very sad that I didn't have time to go to see MALAYSIAN GODS and CALL IF YOU NEED ME (James Lee) in BKKIFF 2009. I just saw SEPET, and think Yasmin Ahmad is very interesting. Her films are well-made mainstream films, not as slow-moving as other films by new Malaysian directors. I hope Thai mainstream films, especially the ones made by GTH studio, can make films as entertaining and touching as Yasmin Ahmad.

I hope there will be a few great Malaysian films for us to see in the World Film Festival of Bangkok 2009 in November. :-)
